Who We Are

We are many in number, singular in vision. The General Contractors Association of New York represents the unionized heavy civil construction industry, bringing together more than 250 member firms and 25,000 members to continually build New York better. Over 115 years strong, the GCA advocates on matters that move New York, and our industry, forward.

The GCA was formed in the early 1900s to advocate for and build the world-class infrastructure that transformed New York City and established its legacy as the great metropolis.
